Helen Keller, who lived near Aspetuck Corners on the border of Easton and Weston was a wonderful author and amazing person despite being blind and deaf.

As a community we strive to follow her good deeds as she said, "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."

These are the six components of the WWL organization:

1. Board made up of elected officers and standing committee chairs, as appointed by the President.

2. Standing Committees chaired by appointees and staffed by members who volunteer to participate,  as needed.

3. Fundraisers chaired and staffed by members.

4. Community Services chaired and staffed by members.

5. Senior Services projects chaired by members and staffed by members and community volunteers.

6. Social Events organized for members only, based on membership interests.
