Helen Keller, who lived near Aspetuck Corners on the border of Easton and Weston was a wonderful author and amazing person despite being blind and deaf.

As a community we strive to follow her good deeds as she said, "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."

Women, at least 21, who reside in Weston, are eligible for membership and should meet the following membership requirements during the fiscal year:

 

1. Attend 5 of the 10 General Meetings.

 

2. Participate on one Senior Service project/committee:

- Senior Luncheons

- Meals-on-Wheels

- Annual Senior Event (TBD)

- Weston Senior Center

 

3. Participate in at least one Community Service project:

- Farmer’s Market

- Memorial Day Bike Fest

- UNICEF/Halloween Parade

- Evergreen Birthdays

- Red Cross Blood Drive

- Evergreen Gift Baskets

- Eyeglass Drive

- Clothing Drive

- Weston holiday Gift Baskets

- Used Book/Toy Drive

- Children’s Concert Series

 

4. Participate on one project/committee for all fundraisers:

- Children’s Holiday Breakfast (CHB)

- Spring Fundraiser

 

5. Payment of annual dues of $50.
